LibBot is a software service (SaaS) provided by LibEdge that helps library institutions prepare, approve, publish and monitor the performance of their social media content.
Institution administrators may connect to LibBot only the social media accounts they are authorized to manage. The institution is responsible for the content it publishes and for complying with the terms of use of the relevant platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, X). Text and images generated with artificial intelligence must be reviewed by the institution before publication.
Connections are established with the institution's consent through the relevant platform's authorization screen. LibBot acts only within the permissions granted. The institution may disconnect at any time or remove the permission from the relevant platform's settings.
The service may not be used to publish content that is unlawful, misleading, unsolicited (spam) or that infringes the rights of others. Such use may result in suspension of the account.
The service depends on the APIs of third-party platforms. LibEdge cannot be held liable for disruptions caused by outages, restrictions or changes on those platforms. We reserve the right to change features in order to improve the service.
